Plan your holidays now folks…

There are some great places countries to visit in 2018. Here are a few of our top destinations.

Countries to Visit in 2018

For culture, food and magnificent scenery, Italy is hard to beat. With plenty of tourist attractions, and varied architecture scattered around the land, this is a country with something for everyone.

Rome, Florence and Venice are three cities that must be visited in anyone’s lifetime and if you have a passion for fashion, it’s always worth a trip to Milan. If only to see how the other half lives.

A personal favourite of mine, France has plenty to offer and should be top of your list of countries to visit in 2018  Paris is always a good place to start, before venturing out to the incredibly picturesque landscapes, villages and vineyard. Whether you are wanting to sample French cuisine first hand or the cosmopolitan outdoor cafes or the spectacular Riviera, France has something for you.

For diversity, Australia is one our recommended countries to visit in 2018. The laid back day-to-day living is there for all to see and the outback is on offer for the more adventurous.  The Ulura Kata Tjuta National Park is somewhere everyone should visit at least once in a lifetime and Sydney has all the culture you can take in.

Brazil has a landmass greater than the USA so it’s fair to say, a two week holiday won’t be enough to cover everything worth seeing but you should set your sights initially on the three main cities- Sao Paulo, Rio De Janeiro and Belo Horizonte.  The Iguacu Falls should be top of your list of priorities as should the Rio De Janeiro ‘Carnaval’.

Plenty to excite here, whether it’s the market of Marrakech, the scenic views or for the more adventurous, a stroll across the Sahara Desert. With decent weather guaranteed and unique architecture spread all across the land. It’s a journey with plenty of diversity along the way.

If it’s stunning beauty you’re after, we would highly recommend St Lucia.  A Caribbean wonderland with plenty to do for those more active, or for those who simply want to chill, there’s no better place on earth.  If you’re feeling active you can take a full moon zipline or a trek through the rainforest. Bring your sun tan cream, it’s going to be a scorcher.

As if there weren’t enough reasons to visit, Singapore is celebrating fifty years of independence in 2015. Each year, a National Day Parade takes place on 9th August and this year’s event promises to be even more spectacular. There’s a real mix of Indian, Chinese, Indonesian and Malaysian cuisine on offer and if it’s culture you’re after there’s plenty to cater for all tastes, but the new ArtScience museum is definitely worth checking out.

From the spas to the scenery, Lithuania certainly has plenty to brag about. Take a walk on the luxurious sand dunes and take yourself away into your own world.  The capital Vilnius is well worth a trip with its historic architecture and vibrant nightlife. A real mix of old and new.  Another ‘must’ on your list of countries to visit in 2018 is a trip to Trakai Historical National Park and visit the Castle by the Lake or better still take a boat trip to really take in the view.

A truly magical place to visit, especially if your ideal holiday included plenty of ‘chilling out.  View the castles, take a trip to the Guinness brewery,  spend a day hillwalking, enjoy the many festivals and take in the genuine Irish pub culture and folklore.  The chances are, a trip to Ireland will see you returning healthier and revitalised.

If you’re looking for a friendly country with plenty of decent beaches and places to chill out,  this would be our no.1 hotspot for 2018.  The hospitality of the locals is second to none and it’ll feel like a home from home- probably more so! Shopping is also a way of life here as it’s also a way of getting the family together so shopping malls are plentiful. Beware the rainy season between June and October, but even then, it’s a place that still shines like a beacon.
